Are canned mussels good for you?
Salmon, sardines, mussels, herring and some mackerel are all good sources of the essential long-chain omega-3 fats. We prefer products that state the omega-3 content and show the amount of DHA and EPA, which are the important long-chain omega-3s from fish.

How do you cook store bought mussels?
- Melt the butter in a large pot over medium-high heat. Add the shallot and garlic and let them cook for 3 minutes.
- Add the mussels and cover the pot. After three minutes, take the lid off and gently stir the mussels.
- Pour the cream (if using) and the lemon juice into the sauce and gently mix.
Do mussels have poop in them?
